One Sandwich of Kindness

It began with hunger — not her own, but someone else’s. Nine‑year‑old Brianna saw a man sitting near her school gate, shivering and alone. She didn’t have money, but she had lunch. So she split her sandwich in half and handed it to him.

The next day, she made two sandwiches. One for herself, one for him. By the end of the week, her classmates noticed. They started bringing extra food too.

Soon, the school cafeteria had a box labeled “Kindness Meals.” Every afternoon, Brianna and her friends filled it with sandwiches, fruit, and notes that said things like “You matter.”

What began as one sandwich became a movement — Brianna’s Kindness Club — serving hundreds of meals every month. Her tiny act didn’t just feed people; it fed hope.
